In this 1 day in Paris itinerary, we give you tips on all the tours you can take to make the most of your 24 hours in the city.
Morning in Paris
To start this 1 day in Paris itinerary in style, our tip is to visit the city’s most iconic landmark: the Eiffel Tower. Take the opportunity to admire the tower from below or climb it. In the latter case, don’t forget to buy tickets for this attraction in advance to save time in the queue.
Once you’ve done that, you can walk along the banks of the Seine River towards the famous Arc de Triomphe, which is very important to the country’s history. From there, you’ll follow the Champs-Elysées Avenue, which, as well as being beautiful, has ancient architecture and many stores, making it an unmissable tourist spot in Paris.

Afternoon in Paris
Walk in a straight line until you reach the iconic Louvre Museum and stroll through the square where its entrance is located, in the glass pyramid. However, due to time constraints, you may not be able to visit the Louvre in its entirety – so consider whether or not it’s worth it, depending on your preferences.
Once you’ve passed the Louvre, you can cross the famous Pont des Arts, Paris’s padlocked bridge over the River Seine. Then go on to see the beautiful and historic Notre Dame Cathedral, an icon of Paris, and end the day by visiting the magnificent Luxembourg Gardens, which are full of plants and flowers.
