Here’s a great 2 days in Berlin itinerary. With beautiful locations, fantastic attractions and a vibrant nightlife scene, the city has a lot to offer.

What to do on your first day in Berlin?

Start your first day in Berlin at Café Kalwil, located on Motzstraße. There you’ll find a variety of breakfast options, including bread, eggs and drinks.

Then take the subway or a cab to the Brandenburg Gate, one of Berlin’s most famous landmarks. The Free Tour of Berlin even has the site as one of its stops. The tour is very interesting because you get to see the city’s main sights for free, only paying a symbolic amount at the end.

Take the opportunity to take photos and appreciate the impressive architecture. A few minutes’ walk from the Brandenburg Gate, visit the Memorial to the Jewish Dead of Europe. There, walk between the concrete blocks and visit the underground information center to learn more about the history of the Holocaust.
