Disneyland and Walt Disney Studios in Paris
First of all, it’s important to know that Disneyland is the largest park in the Disney complex in Paris. It also has unmissable attractions, many restaurants and stores. It is divided into 5 themed areas:
- Main Street USA: this is the entrance to the Disneyland park and features Victorian architecture, stores, restaurants and lots of fun. It ends at the beautiful Sleeping Beauty Castle.
- Discoveryland: this is a futuristic area where you’ll find rides about space and franchises such as Star Wars.
- Fantasyland: this is the area of Disney fairy tales and stories, with the castle that enchants everyone.
- Adventureland: is a place that shows different parts of the world, such as Africa and the Caribbean, similar to Epcot in Orlando.
- Frontierland: represents the American Wild West of the 19th century.
In summary, Walt Disney Studios has a similar theme to Disney’s Hollywood Studios in Orlando. In Paris, the park is divided into 4 parts: Front Lot, which is the entrance to the park; Toon Studio, inspired by Disney’s Pixar classics, with most of the attractions; Production Courtyard, where there are attractions about Hollywood films; and the Blacklot, an “industrial” area but also with a focus on films.
In addition, the Disney parks in Paris have an exclusive center for shopping and eating after a day in the parks. The Disney Village, located in the middle of the entire Disney Paris complex, can be compared to Disney Springs in Orlando. Finally, in the Disney Village, tourists will find many options of stores with official products from the parks, snack bars and even themed restaurants.
